Overview
Slack is where many companies already talk, which is both the benefit and the risk. Free history is limited; paid plans keep the archive and add admin controls. It is excellent for fast coordination and a poor place to store decisions you will need in six months. Pair it with a doc system and write the outcome down somewhere searchable.
